262 years since that fateful day that fell upon those brave Jacobites.

The Gaelic Society held its annual service to remember those brave souls who fell upon Culloden and those who were Butchered upon the field after the battle. Remembrance was also given to a Beautiful & Great society that once thrived but was so cruelly torn apart after Culloden.

Clan Chiefs from the World over laid wreaths and paid tribute to their fallen Ancestors.
In attendance on a warm but windy day were about 1200 patriots coincidentally about the same number who lay buried here in Culloden Field.
We shall not forget these brave people for we shall tell our children who shall tell their children of Culloden.

George Boyle was honoured to lay the wreath on behalf of Crann Tara.

I myself laid the Wreath for Crann Tara at the Midnight Service of which was a Great Honour indeed.
Words really cannot express how I felt upon laying the wreath, my Heart & Mind went back 262 years.

Culloden was a fateful day let us never forget those Gallant Highlanders & Fellow Jacobites.
